- Location Description:The building is located east of the Iowa River at 140 W. Washington Street. It houses the School of Journalism and Mass Communication and the department of Cinema and Comparative Literature.

Summary: The building is accessible to persons with disabilities. It's located in the block between Washington Street and Iowa Avenue, just north of the Library and west of the Becker Communications Studies Building. This block of West Washington Street is a pedestrian plaza; vehicle access is limited. Designated parking spaces are available. (See below.)
- Accessibility
Path: The main lobby entrance to the building is located on the south side and is accessible.
- Parking: Two designated accessible parking spaces are located just south of the adjacent Becker Communication Studies Building, near the loading dock. There are also designated spaces directly in front of the Main Library, and in the lot west of the library.
- Restrooms:
All restrooms in the building are accessible.
- Elevators:
The elevator is located near the main lobby. An additional elevator is located in the Becker Communications Studies Building which is linked to the Adler Building by an accessible skywalk on the second floor.
