Today’s University of Iowa is more than 30,000 students, about 15,000 faculty and staff, over 200,000 living alumni, and a host of supporters and friends whose inspiration, dedication, and passion make Iowa a resource for the world. You’ll meet just a few of them here.

Six years ago, she left her home in Burundi to pursue her studies and her passion for running. The journey brought her to Iowa, where she’s become a standout athlete and an inspiration to teammates and fans.
